Hi all,
The cover of the light fixture on the kitchen exhaust is broken. The material is some kind of transparent plastic. Is there any place/way I can get a replacement? Much as I tried, it does not have a mark on it to indicate what brand or make it is. The stove itself is from AEG, but I'm sensing it does not guarantee the exhaust is also the same make.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Kind regards.

Bring the broken cover to a Appliance Repair Store or look in "Kodinkoneiden Huoltoa" for the store nearest you. Then you could try a hardware store like KRauta to see if they can identify the make and model. To know the name of the make and model will be a big help.

I had a problem that sounded similar. A "cliping-side" of the plastic cover got broken, and therefore the cover could not stay anymore. I fixed that by using a drop of silicon gel. This gel is quite strong, it will stand the heat, the steam and the grease of the cooking, and yet the cover can still be taken out, because the silicon gel is not as strong as glue. It's good at least for a temporary solution.network_engineer wrote:The cover of the light fixture on the kitchen exhaust is broken. The material is some kind of transparent plastic.

Often on newer apartments, the extractor above your cooker is linked to the flat air circulation system (if you have one?). If you do, check the heat exchanger box (often in the bathroom or hall), there may be a name on there.
