Replacement glass plate of Microwave oven

Hello,

Unfortunately I broke the glass plate(the thing that rotates and we keep stuff on the top of it) of my Micro. Does anyone know where I can buy a replacement ? The micro is LG.

Prolly cheaper just to buy a new oven. Spares for cheap machines are notoriously difficult to come by, the problem is that the components vary greatly between models and are manufactured so far away, that it isn't worth a store stocking spare glass plates for every different model of microwave oven, just on the off chance that someone needs one

Broke mine too a few years ago. Found a small shop (Kuopio) that had several spare once.
But one plate costed about 25 Euro.

Another alternative is to check out the flea markets and huuto.net and look for the same model, use it for spare parts (well the glass plate anyway)

check out http://www.lgnordic.com and call their service number and they can point out the closest repair shop.

Yeah, it might be bit difficult. The new microwave costs around 100 Euros I guess. This one is also pretty new, sad.

I ve seen some plates at Tarjoustalo. Most of them are standard plates for a range of Mwaves ( 1.7 - 2.5 )
Also try Hongkong.
I think I bought one as a gift with a Mwave that didnt have one.

I checked in the Tarjoustalo at Espoo tori, they dont have it. Can you tell me which Tarjoustalo you referrin to ? This has become urgent to me now.

Eco tori had a stack of about a hundred diffrent ones just check your diamater and go down.

Yeah, even Google search didn't yield much about Eco tori. Is it in Helsinki ?

Ok, sorry, so it might only be in Turku and i miss spelled it. It is Turun Ekotori They sell used everything, from home apliances to funature and knick knacks. I love it we have gotten a great dressing table and mirror for our doughter and three big bookshelves for the husband's office. The web site is http://www.turunekotori.fi/.

The one in Suomenoja ( where there is a Tarjoustalo, Biltema and LIDL and other stores . The mall is called Martinsilta)
