Graphic design school

Hello everybody,

I am French, I just graduated from a business school in France.
I am now looking for a graphic design program in Helsinki.

I did some research on CIMO and on other websites but I didn't find anything. The education should be in English, I know, I ask for a lot

SO, anyone know a graphic design school in Helsinki ?!

Okay, that's a bit trickier then - the polytechnics and universities do not as such offer one-year degree programmes. You might find something in the (ammatti)opisto-type establishments (folk high school, adult education centres, vocational education) but whether those would be available in English... Hei,

I'm now in very similar situation, so was wondering if you maybe found something in the meanwhile? I am an architect, but interested i graphic design and would like to get some education and professional skills in that area, also perhaps up to two year, doesn't necessary have to be a degree program. Thanx a lot for any info!

I have a vague recollection of something in Karis / Karjaa. Can't remember the name of the school though. I know they have several courses running in English, even though it is essentially a Swedish speaking establishment. ????

Edit: this was the place http://www.vnf.fi/ENGLISH/index.html but apparently they don't do graphic design.

KyAMK http://www.kyamk.fi/ has a english degree in Graphic design. You could try to do it as a part of Erasmus, e.g. The most renown Graphic Design school is in Lahti, btw, though its very difficult to get in there. No short-term, though, afaik.
