Planting broccoli
Planting broccoli
I've started growing a vegetable garden with the help of our gardener (paprikas, corn, zuchinni and different herbs). I would like to also plant some broccoli as we can't get it here (outside the winter season or then frozen packs which cost a bomb). It's spring where we are right now in the Middle East and we'll be making a short trip to Finland next week. Could anyone advise as to where I can find broccoli seeds??? Any other tips on planting this veggie would also be much appreciated! Thank you!

Re: Planting broccoli
Maybe if you go to one of the big Prismas and they have a garden centre attached, they might have the seeds there.
Or that Planta..... place. I can't remember the exact name of it. But it's got all kind of vegetable growing stuff and anything to do with gardening. Maybe someone remembers the proper name for it. Is it Plantagen? Something like this I think. I bet you can find broccoli seeds there.

I noticed a few days ago that my local Rautia has a large display of seeds. I bought a few; I didn't get broccoli but I think it was there.
Re: Planting broccoli
I bought some a few weeks ago in Prisma. Plantagen will definitely have them too.

Thank you so much everyone!!
It's funny that broccoli is not planted locally here eventhough there is an abundance of cauliflower. The broccoli we get is brought in from Pakistan or Iran I think and the locals call it green cauliflower.
