Ok, i wasnt sure which topic to post this under so i just chose this one!
I've been in Finland now for almost 3 months, my temp residancy permitis valid up until the 2nd of May.
I'm leaving the country for a week next week on the 16th and will be returning on the 22nd of this month.
CAN I , on my return, go to the Maistraatti and request an new temp residancy permit from the 22nd as i had left the country before my 3months was up?
I have a flat here (in Tampere) and ive also aquired work which wont be looking to start until around July.
Can I do this?.....

Of course you can do whatever you like. The worst they can do is to say no. Now I just can't fathom what the heck the 3 months and being out of the country for a week got to do with each other or anything? Are you on one of those working holiday visas or what?
