For people who need it, you can line up for food (leipäjono) with the Finns
at the following places in the capital area:

Helsinki:
Veikko- ja Lahja Hurstin laupeudentyö:
Food and clothes:
Helsinginkatu 19
Wed and Fri starting at 12 p.m.

For students: clothing and food the last Tues of every month:
29.1, 26.2, 25.3, 29.4

Lady's night Tuesdays from 6 p.m. on at Ounasvaarankuja 1
Gent's night Thursdays from 6 p.m. on Ounasvaarankuja 1

Herttoniemi parish (Liikuntamylly)
Food: Tues and Fri, queue numbers distributed at 9 a.m., food distribution around 9:30
Only bread: Mon, Wed, Thurs 9-11

Pelastusarmeija (Salvation Army) (Papinkuja 1)
Only Bread: Mon-Fri, 8.30-15 and Sat 9-13
Food: Mon and Sat, apparently at the same time fod bread

Vantaa:
RuokaApu yhdistys (Simonkalliontie 9? Iskostie 5?)
Tues and Fri, 11 a.m.

Korson ruokapalvelu (Myyrätie 6)
Food: Mon 12-13, Thurs 12-13.30

Espoo:
Hyvä Arki (Pappilantie 9)

Food distributed Mon, Wed and Fri starting at 11 a.m until it's gone.

Manna-apu ry (Terveyskuja 2 E-talo)
Mon, Thurs and Fri starting at 10

Supposedly this place also helps, but I can't find any particular info on
their web page saying that they distribute food:

Raitin Pysäkille (Konstaapelinkatu 1, Leppävaara)

Some of these places apparently also have lunches, etc., but none of the
pages say if they're free or they cost a small fee.

Please add in places for people to turn in other towns!
