VISA PROCEDURE

I have met the required eligibility for applying to study at Finnish polytechnics/universities of applied sciences,an official invitation letter has been sent me, my exam was arrange in ghana last month, Please i want to make enquireing about
requirements for starting the student visa procedure.(NIGERIA)

And if you have been accepted into a degree programme (congrats) you won't strictly speaking want a visa ("viisumi") but a student residence permit ("opiskelijan oleskelulupa").

The former, a "tourist visa", only allows you to stay in finland for 3 months. This note just because the word visa is often used to refer to foreign travel/immigration documents in general, it's good to be aware of the distinction here.
