Gotta boast, gotta boast! My 3 yr old, who doesn´t get through life as easily as his brothers (very clumsy, possibly dispraxicI had thought, very poor speech development, can say very few consonants & rarely makes himself understood in either language) suddenly decided he wanted to be like big, "sporty" brother (aged 5!) & ride his teeny bike without stabilisers (apupyörät). To our amazement, after about 10 mins of stuttering & wobbling, he managed to start, ride & stop, without crashing, he was soooooooooooo excited. This was last week & he has spent almost evey minute outside in our huge garden riding round like a pro

A few times I have walked (fast!) with him on the cycle paths near the main roads, but he amazingly enough rides straight, without wobbling & stops without crashing or falling. He is sooooooooooooo cute! Our youngest just turned 2 so we bought him a trike with a handle at the back for me to push, & a foot rest as well as pedals, seeing as he is too small to reach yet! He takes great pride in wearing his helmet & fluorescent jacket like big brothers as we ride round & round our little lanes. But he is the stroppy, bossy one of the family & if the others get off to push their bikes up the hill, he has to also, & when the others put their bikes down on the ground as they don´t have a stand, he tries to put his huge tricycle on it´s side too, but of course it´s too heavy & he has a geat tantrum (well he IS 2!!!) It is so funny
Little boys, I LOVE them
