I NEED TO HIRE A SMALL VAN HELP :(:( !!!

Hi everyone,

I need to hire a small van ( 6 - 8 m3 ) to move my stuff this saturday. I was moving from hameenlinna to helsinki last September but not able to bring all my stuff with me ( when I say stuff i mean only my some big luggages ) so my friend has been keeping it in her small room for me. Now the summer is coming and she is leaving that room so I need to take my luggages here. Fortunately my all-time-busy friend is free this saturday so she can helps me by being a driver and the question remained : where can i find a small van ( or big car ?? ) to hire ?

I have been looking on the internet but since it's all in Finnish, i haven't got any good result yet. There's this number that i called but they said they only give cars to someone atleast 25 yrs old. I really don't know what to do.

Do u friends know any number or any where i can contact ? Yes as cheap as possible, around 70e for 7, 8 hours ? And where do u think it's cheaper to hire the van, from hameenlinna or from helsinki ? I would really appreciate all the helps and suggestions.

i wonder if one can buy something in ikea or any of those furniture/hardware stores and rent their vans....and use it other than transporting the stuffs they bought

Try the petrol stations (Shell, etc), I think most of them have vans/trailers to rent.
