Just go to the friggin hardware store.....and get a plank......you dont need imported cedar to plank salmon on a fire......try the hardware store

I have actually heard that cedar is the only type of wood that doesn't warp and bend under high heat and thats also why its good. I personally don't have any experience with this type of cooking but thought I'd add my two cents

I call that alcohol misuse! Sheesh! Good (as in containing alcohol) wine/beer/whiskey is to be consumed orally and in large quantities.
