I am soon going to live in Helsinki. I have no imagination of usual internet prices in finland and am looking for cheap providers, whatever cheap means... Maybe someone found a good offer he/she can recommend.

Offers come and go, you need to check at the time you want connecting, as the offer today might be closed by then.
There isn't much competition, however prolly more in HKI than elsewhere - I think there are even some packages that you can take home and get connected the same day.

I am using DNA mobile internet and i pay 14 something euros (5 euros for modem a monthly installment plus 9 something euros a monthly service charge). Other providers offer similiar services. Depending upon where you are staying in Helsinki, the speed of internet varies. Speed is usually good but with this connection if you wanna play videos/movies online, you will learn some finnish words very fluently. 
I am editing this... because i forgot to add that i am not sure if this is the cheapest way to get connected. I chose mobile internet because i hate wirey stuff and it is very convenient to carry your laptop when you are travelling and still get connected effortlessly
