Looking for a desktop PC with an ethernet network connection. 2nd hand and cheap! Anyone upgrading and want to offload their old PC for a hundred euros or so?

Thanks for the offer, but I have sorted something out. Huuto is a good place to look for bargains closer to home.

Hanken (Business school) throw out a lot at times

Post by andyfinland » Thu Feb 05, 2004 9:25 pm

I work at Hanken (Swedish School of Economics and Business Administration), and every now and then we get rid of a load of old computers. We normally call up some firm and they come and collect them. There's nothing at the moment because they came a short while ago. Don't expect to run windows 2000/XP on them!

Check this posting for more info. When we have a lot, I can see it they can be redirected elsewhere.

Its always a problem, as officially they belong to the school, and only when the decision has been made to get rid of them, then is the time to grab one.
