hello i am from morocco
i won 22000 euro by lottery
so i think to learn finish and spend my money by coming to Finland and get a job or start a bussniss
what is your opinion friends !!

learing finnish will take your years unless you are among gifted few!!
getting a job in finland will take you months/years depending upon your skills and luck or how fast you learn the language!!
starting a business with zero knowledge of finnish laws and finnish market is assured stupidity !!

i know that is dificulte to work in Finland without Finish lang
but i like to visit Finland as a torist then i can have more information about live in finland...and i will study finish
just one more question:how is the prises of appartment and houses rental !!!

you can buy a refrigirated container with 22000 euros... then you go inside.... its dark and cold - just like Finland

buddy.. sorry to pull your hopes down back to ground, getting a study place in finland has become very competitve lately!

anyway .... student apartments are not that high as compared to private apartments. it ranges from 180 euro to 280 euro per month for small student room dependent upon the location and size of the room.

well... Good luck with your plans.

edit: i thought you meant studying!! if you wanna study finnish only, you don't get student apartment.

22K is nothing if you want to start something . It might be just enough to live here for two years (very moderately).
Two years is not enough to learn Finnish at working skill level.
If you come, you'll either be lucky and succeed, but more likely you'll loose your money and then have to go back with empty hands.

thanks for all brothers who give me advises about my plans...
now i am sure that all of you are right...
there is a big difirent about my country Morocco and Finland...
here 22000 euros can change a life...
now i can buy a car and small apartment and complet my studies and enjoy for the rest of my life...
Morocco is a beautiful country...there is a lot of beautiful beaches and montain and magic nature...
i was totally wrong when i thinks to move to Finland and leave my country...

edit:i still want to visit Finland..for study in a vocational school...but first i like to learn Finnish..

I really don't understand why ppl come here. In time when I moved to Finland it was deep crises 98-01. It was practically no way to change for a better place. But now, really, strange.

yeah, here its 220 000 when life might slightly change... 22K can't buy you an outhouse except somewhere in the forest... and then you would not have money for the car any more... or you could have a nice car and gas and nowhere to go... but money put in education is never wasted...

22k would be good (some extra left over) down payment for apartment around HKI or Tampere.

How much you would get with it depends on location, type of apartment and so forth.

My car (used) cost 21k when I bought it.

So there... Some knowledge for people wanting to move regarding price levels in Finland. Learn to love your banker, you will be doing lots of begging with him.
