Hei,
Does anybody know of a good place to play squash in Espoo? I'd like to join a club league and would prefer a place where the court costs aren't too high. The closer to Olari the better
Thanks!

There's a place in Matinkylä, down past the ice rink (keep going on that road). It's an old fitness centre, looks a bit sort of 80s from the outside but I know someone who plays badders there and they reckon it is way cheaper than Esport Centre (next to the bubble). One of my kids says its called "Forever or something like that..."

Esport centre is super cheap if you go early, pay for the half hour but go 10 min's early to 'warm up' on court. (I mean who can really play a 60 minute game so why pay for 60 mins). Good facilities too, glass back courts and sauna afterwards.
Used to be around 6,50 euro for half an hour before work.
I've called it quits on squash, as much as it's a fantastic game - I never had time to warm up properly so always ended up with injuries. Judging by how few facilities there are left from what were the heady days of the 80's, and by the likes of Lambs in London closing down - I'm not sure where it's heading. It didn't make the Olympics again sadly. Great shame - I've found that Salibandy offers a similar killer fitness demands but totally lacks the mental games of one-on-one that made squash like chess on steroids.

Thanks for the comments! I actually play badminton in Forever so I know that they don't have squash courts. It's a shame as they otherwise have great facilities! I have played at Esport Centre also but it seems expensive to me; that's why I was hoping to find somewhere else (as I can't normally play before work).
I used to play quite competitively (#6 in my county at colts level) but I haven't played for many years so I'm trying to get back into it
