Salary in Finland Software Developers

iam a 5+ yrs experience embedded professional and iam looking jobs in Finland, have managed to get some interviews. What r the salaries range that i can expect in Finland?

Well iam doing Mobile software, audio engineering.

C and C++. MP3, AAC, eAAC+, Directshow, etc. Postprocessing, preprocessing , speech codecs etc

It can vary on many things like which company and what city. For example Helsinki area usually pays more than Tampere.

can you tell me for either cases in euros Salary per month and approx tax slabs

Well I would say you could get anywhere from 2500-5000€ in the capital area and less than that in Tampere, Salo, Oulu, etc. But these are just numbers that people I know are getting and not based on some documented statistics. I sort of work in the same field but I am not a developer so I can't say from personal experience.
Basically I would say if you are extremely confident about your skills then shoot high, if you are desperate for a job on the other hand, then you should think about what you wanna ask.
If you know other people doing what you want to do and know their background etc., but don't want to ask what they make, you could buy the newest veropörssi which contains the taxable income for all individuals in 2007 and that would give you a good idea what companies are paying.

Speaking of the 2007 veropörssi, if anyone has Helsinki or the Pääkaupunkiseutu areas and want to trade for Pirkanmaa then send me a PM I have it in pdf.

before crisis salary range was between 4k - 6k, depends on experience, HKI. Currently, this is hard to say as hiring slump.
