Would you like to become my Personal Assistant?

I am looking for a reliable and responsible person for a varied job as my Personal Assistant averaging 40 hours per week. I am a 45 year old woman with a physical disability. I employ altogether 5 permanent assistants. I use a powered wheelchair for mobility, but I need another person to be my "legs and arms" in all other aspects of daily living. I do not need a care-giver or someone to talk to. I need practical physical help with certain tasks according to my instructions.

All the tasks involve things I would do by myself if I were not physically disabled: I would dress myself, use the bathroom, fry a steak, go to the movies, etc. The tasks may involve any aspect of my life that I want do at different times of the day either in my home (in Helsinki city centre) or elsewhere.

My personal assistant needs to adapt herself to different tasks and to changing situations in different kinds of circumstances and environments. Sometimes she needs to be quick and effective, though at times the job requires considerable patience. Common sense and practical orientation are an asset. It is necessary that my assistant be in good condition physically and that she speak either Finnish or English fluently. I do not require any practical training or earlier experience, but it may be an asset if your background involves earlier experience in customer service or in dealing with small details.

The shifts are rather regular and fixed according to a four week schedule. It includes all possible shifts: morning, evening, night, and sometimes on weekends. There are usually 2 or 3 free days off in a row. The salary is 9,28 euros per hour. Additional pay dependent on the time of service is +15% for evenings, +40% for nights, +20% for Saturdays, and +100% for Sundays. The work starts in the end of February if agreeable.
