I've got some questions to ask about the piano lessons.

Hi,
would you consider giving piano lessons to an adult? I am studying in Helsinki and searching for someone to give me private lessons. Please let me know if that was possible.

Re: Piano Lessons Helsinki area
You should check out www.peerypiano.com. It's online instruction but you use a video exchange to get feedback directly from the teacher. It's conservatory-level instruction and the teacher, Christie Skousen is an award-winning pianist and a graduate of the Peabody Conservatory. Christie's curriculum is even currently being used by the San Fransisco Conservatory. It's much cheaper than regular lessons as well.
I'm using it with my 5-year-old son and he LOVES it. I taught piano for years and In ways I feel like this is even better because you can watch the teacher demonstrating what to do at any time. It's also fun to send in the video once all your assignments are done.

Re: Piano Lessons Helsinki area
You have to pay for the lessons, private or music school. As several pre-posters provided links I would recommend you to check these out to learn about the prices!!raysky wrote:Are piano lessons free in Finland or one has to pay for its membership?

the link above seems to be dead,
other than online classes, are there similar classes like Yamaha Music Schools in Finland?
