Yes I left Jyvaskyla in Dec 2008 and was in India for a month and then I returned to Jarvenpaa in Jan 2009..I guess couple of months more and I should go back to India (Before my family forgets that they have a son

I remember most of the Jyväskylä guys, "Jyväskylä" sort of catches the eye!cooldude_1983 wrote:quite nice to realize that you still remember me

Re: Jarvenpaa pointers requested
jarvenpaa is in the middle of nowhere ie anything out there in outside keha III is as good as out there in Jyväskylä, get on the train to helsinki and meet people and activities
Re: Jarvenpaa pointers requested
Yes, train takes quickly to Helsinki, but actually Työväenopisto in Järvenpää seems to have quite a lot to offer. Spring terms ends in April, and new term starts in the begining of September. All "creative" classes are popular, so signing in in August is wisest. Check this: http://opnet.virkamaki.fi/jarvenpaa/opi ... _JÄRVENPÄÄ There are several drawing and painting classes, sewing, different dance classes, porclaine painting, ceramics, movie making, photography, Turkish cooking course, European cuisine, chocolate course, Easter food, barbaecue course, and something very Finnish: How to make a "sandwich cake". Naturally those are not the same in September, but you get the idea.
