Drama - The Rimers of Eldritch (Lanford Wilson)
Thespians Anonymous present "The Rimers of Eldritch",
written by two-time Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright
Lanford Wilson.
The small town of Eldritch is shocked by the sexual
assault of a teenage girl and a shooting. As the
murder trial unfolds, the hypocrisy, catchword
morality and secret struggles of the townsfolk are
revealed.
Scenes from everyday life are refracted and brought
into focus by a disregard for chronology and
overlapping, lyrical and sometimes choral dialogue. By
turns humorous, haunting and disturbing, Rimers is an
enchanting story of love, heartbreak and innocence
lost.
