Shobu is a mobile application that provides location based marketing services. At this point Shobu is in an early stage and we are currently in the prototype development phase.
We are looking for a talented developer to join our highly motivated team.
You will be working on our front end mobile software development project.
All applicants must have:
- Experience in developing LBS application under the iPhone/ or other platform.
- A background in mobile application development on another platform, Android, Symbian or Blackberry.
- Excellent knowledge of OOA.
- Experience calling web services and external in house APIs.
- UI design and implementations intended for mobile devices.
The 'ideal' applicant will also possess some of the following:
- Additional language (J2ME highly valued).
- SQL skills and an understanding of alternative storage mechanisms such as ORM
- Web development skills in J2EE especially RichFaces or willing to learn it
- Experience working with revision control systems (subversion preferred)
- Basic understanding of issues surrounding internationalisation and localisation for multi-territory deployments
