Hi all,
We're moving to Espoo this summer, and my daughter and I want to start Judo. My son is now orange belt but will drop it, but my daughter of six would like to start again, and I'd like to give it a go.
We both understand Swedish (and she understands a fair bit of English) but it doesn't look like there are any swedish-speaking judo clubs in Espoo?
For me, the most important thing about the club is that it has to be fun for the kids. I score at tournaments for my son's club here, and there is a really big difference in term of fanaticism: passion is great, but 'winning at any cost' is not what I want my kids to learn.
Any thoughts? Chikara is mentioned a couple of times on teh forum, but while I can probably manage with a translating partner, my daughter definitely can't...
Thanks,
Edwin
Judo for kids and adults in Espoo?
Re: Judo for kids and adults in Espoo?
Can't answer your question, but here are the judo clubs in southern Finland:

Here's one in Hki, adult+6 years old, but instruction language is finnish. GoogleTranslate/Email, if you're interested.
