Hi, in about 1992-1994 (forgot what year) I was an exchange student to Finland for the summer. I stayed with a wonderful family in Joutseno (now known as Lappeenranta). I am trying to locate them as we have lost touch many years ago. I was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction?
Thank you. Maggie mwyrostek@usa.com

Re: Trying to find a family in Finland
Facebook name search, if by chance they have profiles with pictures from which you recognize them? Or you could just message the matches if by chance they are the one. Google for personal web pages (or a business, if they had one)? There's no official route to track down an individual. Do you have an address or anything else in addition to their names to start with (no reason to post either here)?Maggie22 wrote:Hi, in about 1992-1994 (forgot what year) I was an exchange student to Finland for the summer. Via which organization did you spend the summer? Have you thought of contacting their head office in Finland?

Hi!
Did you find your host family?
Earlier I sent to you a PM offering for help to find those people.

Could be, though if she chose not to log in automatically for each visit, she could have read replies later too, right?Karhunkoski wrote:Joined:
