We are looking for freelance Finnish to English translators to work on a project basis.
If you feel that you satisfy the following requirements, send us your application:
- you have a degree in languages or a postgraduate training in translation, or qualifications and experience in another subject (business, technical, scientific or other specialized field)
- you have impeccable writing skills and can change register according to the subject
- you have a thorough knowledge of the source and target language, as well as knowledge of the institutions, culture, attitudes, and practices in the countries where that language is spoken
- you have interpreting abilities or other language-related skills such as abstracting, editing, proofreading
Use of CAT tools is seen as an advantage.
