Post by hopohopo » Fri Oct 29, 2010 12:12 pm

Moikka! I'm looking for a Finnish language standards for B1 level. But I can't find any specific information what should you know on this level of knowledge. Is there anything like standards for Finnish B1 (Finnish as a second language, ofcourse;))? If you know where I can find it, please let me know.
Auttakaa minua, olkaa hyvä :)

The criteria for a B1 in Finnish should be the same as for English, French, German, Italian etc. The terminology is part of the common European Framework (see the links above).

B1=

Can understand the main points of clear standard input on familiar matters regularly encountered in work, school, leisure, etc. Can deal with most situations likely to arise whilst travelling in an area where the language is spoken. Can produce simple connected text on topics which are familiar or of personal interest. Can describe experiences and events, dreams, hopes & ambitions and briefly give reasons and explanations for opinions and plans.
