What are some of the biggest Finnish companies in the world?

Besides Nokia, can anyone tell me what are the other big Finnish companies?

Well...it depends on how you define "big"...and, in the modern era, how you define "Finnish company"...

Polar Electro is a medium-sized Finnish company, still, I believe, 100% owned by a Finnish citizen(s).

Silva...a Swedish company now a subsidiary of Fiskars...

Then there is Suunto Oy, a Finnish-created company, owned as a subsidiary by Amer Sports Corporation...a "Finnish company" which is 20.11%-owned by another possibly "Finnish" company...Novator Finland Oy, but I think the parent of this company might actually be based in London...??? ...Oh forget it, I think your question is meaningless...

No, your response was meaningless, Penelope already managed to answer the OP quite well.

On a world scale the likes of Nokia, Metso, UPM, Kone, Kemira, Outokumpu all have significant operations or sales outside of Finland.

Neste, Fortum, Kesko, S-ryhmä are all quite large but have most of their business in Finland.

You can also get an idea from the companies in the OMX 25

I think all the companies I mentioned have their Head Office in Finland and publish their annual accounts in Finland. I have no idea who has the ownership of those companies.

I guess Finnair could be in there too, they are pretty big. And there are plenty of smaller companies that are world famous in their particular niche but completely unknown to the general public. Like this one which just cleaned up the Gulf of Mexico: http://www.lamor.fi/

Based on employee count (looking at Nokia figures, world wide employee count):
