Hello everybody,
I am moving within a while to Helsinki to live there with my Finnish wife, she already landed a job in healthcare and lives with her mother right now.
Currently living in Belgium and working as a logistics manager in a refugee camp (Hold Bachelors Degree International Business), I am fluent in 5 languages but no Finnish...
After reading several topics on employment in Finland it's difficult to keep a positive attitude towards this issue, my wife just didn't want to stay here.
Although I am more than willing to take full-time Finnish classes to speak the language a.s.a.p. I still think it will be very difficult to get a decent job.
All advice is welcome folks,
Kiitos!

Re: Settling in Helsinki
As Finnish is particularly hard to learn I would rather try to find a job in an English speaking comany, but I have no idea if such is available in your sector. Learning Finnish to an extent that is useful to find a job, especially on your level, will take many years. So even if you are devoted this will take a long time, and I guess you don't want to be supported by your wife forever, if that is even possible when she is living with her mother right now.
And you can look outside of your field, though you are quite overqualified for the few menial jobs available to people without Finnish skills, so you might go for any job in an English speaking firm. Otherwise you could try with companies you know in your home country, probably you worked for, and see if there are any tele-working jobs available - even though this is pretty unlikely.
So, telling you what you already know - it won't be easy...
