permanent residence permit application

You should really help yourself and write more info about what you want to know. It can really change everything on the basis of what you are applying for a RP (family, work, studies), and if you apply from abroad or in Finland. You could also help yourself even further and read through previous threads in the forum, the forum is filled with threads from people getting residence permits.

thanks interluekin, you are right, better to describe my questions clearly here. I have checked immigration website and threads in this forum but didnt find direct answer.

my questions are:
1) how to evaluate yourself whether or not eligible to apply permanent resident permit? i have been in Finland few years with student visa and working visa afterwards till now. I heard the time calculation is changed, who can explain it clearly ?
2) because my family came one year after me, so, is it ok to apply permanent permit for whole family if only mine time is enough for that criteria, or I have to wait for other's time too.
3) is the application fee is same for adult and minor applicants? it is not clearly indicated in the immigration website.

i would appreciate if someone can help to answer this questions.
