Some 8 months ago I joined (tried to take part in, became somewhat addicted to, irritated with) https://www.finlandforum.org

During the past 2 months, I noticed the EVIL tensions between you strange people.

I began considering posting a message somewhere with a theme like: "It seems like ex-pats living in Finland DO all have something in common -- they are all know-it all a$$holes who are so full of themselves that they couldn't anymore function in their own countries, so they came here."

Now I know only part of that theme would hold true. Most of the a$$holes stayed and created a new website.

My only question now, as a filthy and thoroughly hated newbie, is, can you get high on Kardemumma?

no you cant get high by sniffing cardemum. if you do attempt to sniff nutmeg then that's a whole different story

I thought it was eating nutmeg -- a whole lot of it.

Yes it works, but it's far from a nice experience. I found it best using ground nutmeg in milk... stir and down in one gulp (blocking the nose as the smell makes you vomit). Now sit back for a couple of days and prepare to walk round in a misty haze.
Nutmeg contains an alkaloid and is toxic... so boys and girls... don't try this at home.
