Future tense (Olen raskaana)

Post by Nukkepöksy » Wed Feb 06, 2013 5:43 pm

I know there isn't a 'true' future tense like in English, but I'm looking for a non-ambiguous way to say the following:

"You(pl) are going to be wonderful grandparents" or "You(pl) are you going be wonderful grandparents in 7 months".

I'm trying to tell my parents I'm pregnant in a sneaky way--one that forces my non-finnish speaking mom to get help from my finnish-speaking father to translate the email I send to them. Should I be using 'pitäisi olla' (should be) or 'tulee... + 7 kukauttaa' (becoming...) or another verb? Thanks for the help!

Its rather easy you + come format

Teistä tulee seitsemän kuukauden päästä maailman parhaat isovanhemmat.

Something wicked this way comes."
