Why tell them?
Just say it's a friend inviting you to visit.
Unless you really are wanting to come here to live and will try the visa to residence's permit thing.....
If you come from one of the world's crappier countries, your application is proably going to be scrutinised more so than the more favourable countries, no matter what you write LOL. Actually it probably doesn't even matter. People from the 'better' countries get denied too sometimes....

Probably best not to sign your application as Blueballs, though. The people reviewing the application might get the right idea.
