If dishwasher is broken in the rent house, who is responsible? Is house owner or tenant?
Re: Need information
Does dishwasher belong in your agreement? If not then you pay for it if you want it but if it does then owner need to supply you one.sha_giri wrote:If dishwasher is broken in the rent house, who is responsible? Is house owner or tenant?
Dishwasher isnt "basic needed" like owen so if there is nothing in rental agreement its your problem.

Re: Need information
If it was there when you started renting it (the owner owns the machine) then the owner repairs it unless your lease says something to the contrary.
Re: Need information
And again its about what is in agreement, there can be extras in apartment but those are extras. I can rent you a apartment where is all kind of stuff but if agreement doest specify those then those are extras and you have hard time to prove that those are why you rented it. There is only few what are looked as normal and washing machine isnt one of them. If they promised washing machine then you win if not then you wont. If they told that there is washnig machine in house and used it as + for renting then they are providing it and its on them. If its something what just was in house then its on you. There is no law about washing machines, no renter has to provide one IF they didnt promise one.betelgeuse wrote:If it was there when you started renting it (the owner owns the machine) then the owner repairs it unless your lease says something to the contrary.

If you saved the original listing (Oikotie or something like that) and it listed the washing machine I think that would count too (even if the rental contract would be clearer still).
