Is Swisscare good? Which insurance agency?

Post by kobiua » Wed Jun 25, 2014 10:53 am

Dear everyone,

I am going to Joensuun to study my bachelor. And I stuck in choosing a good insurance agency with affordable plan.

I looked up on the internet and found some agencies:

1. Swisscare: seems like majority of people insured by Swisscare.
For one year, their price is 219euros, no deductible. But their terms are not very clear. They said they only cover dental treatment due to accident, so i guess if my wisdom tooth starts to grow or just normal toothache due to eating too hard food, they will not cover, won't they???

2. AON: 370 euro for 9 months, seems expensive.

3. Atlas: 271 euro for 1 year, they cover acute dental problem. But I don't know any friend of mine using it so no reference.

Is there any insurance agency that you guys can recommend? Which one above is good and i can buy it? Which are their disadvantages? Does anyone have real experiences with them?

I really need your advise and help.

Thank you guys in advance.

Cheers,

Hanh

1. I have been buying student insurance from swisscare for years. I have claimed dental treatment invoce due to eating hard food, no problem. I think swisscare is the best choice.

2. I haven't tried AON. No idea.

3. Bad experience with atlas. Several years ago, I sent them invoice for sleep problem, atlas didn't pay. So, don't buy it.
