Hello everyone,
I have a little query so any help in this regard is much appreciated. My income from my job is around 1200 euros and i have a 4 years resident permit. My wife is visiting me soon and i was planning to apply for her resident permit so we can live together in Finland. Income requirement for both of us will be 1700 euros. My wife has savings in her account of around 10000 euros. Does her savings will make up for the lack of income i have ? If yes for how long will she be granted a permit ?
Thanks

Own capital is fine for the income requirement (that's what most students do):Ubos wrote:Hello everyone,

Regardless of the income requirement the maximum for the first permit is one year:

It looks to you have sufficient funds to apply for the first permit. You would need to come up with a plan how to satisfy the income requirement for the extension permit.
