anyone who has brought parents in finland from non eu countr

I want to ask if anyone out there have brought parents in Finland not by visit visa but by residence permit.

I want to bring my parents here. My parents are quite old and their health condition is also not satisfactory. Especially my father. He is diabetic.

Is there anybody who has brought their parents.
I shall be thankful for the kind advises.

Based on both news and some old threads: It won't work. Most likely you could not do it even if they were healthy.
