Hi people!
2 years ago, searching for an art related masters I stumbled upon one very interesting programme about handcrafts but have not been able to find it again now!
Unfortunately, I don't remember the university, only info I can remember is that it was Not a masters programme, it was let's say a practical (one year?) programme in which you could practise different kind of handwork such as pottery, sewing, jewelry making etc. It did not require a related bachelor degree οbligatorily and it was open for international students as well.
It seems like vague info but if somebody happens to know this programme, it would be delighting!
Handcraft semester in finnish university!
Re: Handcraft semester in finnish university!
Was it in English? What comes to mind are parts of a curriculum for aspiring koulu teachers, but those would be in Finnish or Swedish. Could try to search with käsityö (handcraft) and yliopisto (university), but I guess you got that far with some online dictionary.cocopsin wrote:Hi people!

Study programmes database at studyinfinland.fi suggets a non-degree design programme, but the school website makes it sound like it's meant for exchange students.

Or it sounds like it could be a Folk High School (kansanopisto) program, though I couldn't find any craft programs in English in the current catalogue.
