Questions About Admissions

Post by Ahmed_onWay » Mon Jun 22, 2015 3:59 pm

Hi, I appeared in joint application system and I have received a mail from Metropolia (which is my first choice) that your result is rejected because you have 9 marks and 10 are the consideration marks. So am I rejected from all universities or just from metropolia? My other choices are Turku, Vaasa and Oulu.
Another thing, before test they told us that test is of 100 marks and consideration marks are 30 so what is this now ? Have they changed the whole pattern or what. I am really confused and worried too.

Each university has its own minimum requirements for admission. Additionally, they also have minimum requirement to even enter the selection process. From what Metropolia told you, their minimum is 10. Since you scored 9, you don't enter the selection process at all.

To be honest, with a score of 9/100, I highly doubt you'll be accepted in any AMK. Better luck next year.
Every case is unique. You can't measure the result of your application based on arbitrary anecdotes online.

I don't think that 9 is my score from 100 if English part is involved in it. And 30 are the minimum marks to enter the selection if 100 is the maximum score.
