That being said, please keep your replies civilized !!!!
We all follow the news lately about the big amount of refugees coming into Europe.
To my opinion this all started because some very big country's boss, thought it was needed to overthrow some Despot in the middle east and tricked everyone (with lies) in believing it was necessary. This proved to be having a snowball effect that only benefits weapon dealers and weapon constructors and the Banks.
But beside all that and not to point fingers, the issue about what I am wondering about is this:
I couldn't help to notice that from every horrible page with pictures of big groups of refugees coming into countries in whatever way they attempt to do this, the more north in EU you go, the more this phenomenon shows: Why are most of the refugees Males? Where are the women? Why do I see on pictures relatively new Iphones on them and expensive (looking) watches. Why do these refugees complain about food and shelters.
To explain my wondering, I remember that Europe has a big WAR history and about WW2, I cannot remember that we had such big refugee movements, people stayed as much as possible in their home country and If there were refugees, those were mostly the female and young. The men stayed and fight for their country, either in the army or the resistance and made it for the oppressor as hard as they humanly could.
When food was dropped by planes, no one complained that it was not of their liking, they were grateful they got something at all.
But to my amazement, yesterday I heard about complains of refugees getting the same food as our children at school. What is wrong with that food?
When I see refugee camps in Sudan and what they eat and what space they live in, and compare this to what refugees get in Europe, then I think Europe does not do that bad yet, but then...I hear of complains that there are too many people in the accommodation or the accommodation it not of their liking... WTF!!!
This all sound very VERY ungrateful to me. Especially if you compare this to F.e. (WW2 Netherlands Jewish refugees...read Anne Frank) hiding in closets for most of their days eating tulip bulbs to stay alive...trading in their last valuables to help out their protectors (ones that shelter them) to get food for everyone. (admitted that misuse of the situation occurred there too but still). This ungrateful behaviour makes me

I am an immigrant and I do not complain about anything I get for free, I just complain about things I pay for that are not what I paid for, i.e. paying for 100Mb/s but only getting 30Mb/s, or paying 1500 euro's a month for an apartment that does not get warm and grows moulds in the bathroom due to a bad ventilation system (on a Timer

So all you fellow immigrants (yes I address them and not the local Finnish on this forum..) what are your thoughts about this and how does seemingly ungrateful behaviour make you feel as being an immigrant too. Or are we letting us to be influenced too much by the local (Finnish) media that are pointing out just the excesses.
To give you an example: It makes me feel that I would want to put everyone that complains, into an air-plane and fly them back to their own country, preferably the same day.
To save on kerosene: I heard Finnair is going to test-fly new airbus planes anyway... (I believe this to be a civilized reply)
And again, please keep it civilized in your replies!!
