List of Kirpputoris (Fleamarktets)

Post by Papu » Tue May 10, 2005 7:16 am

Hello everybody!

I´m always on the lookout for good fleamarkets. I would need some furniture, a bike (just an old, !"#¤% one), and general fleamarket-stuff.

When are the good fleamarkets in Helsinki? Are there regular ones? Are there one´s that have bikes and stuff like that also? Is there a place where they offload all the stolen stuff (=new, cheap, but without warranty)?

Thanks,

Jabbadabbadooo

I think the Helsinki police department has a bike auction every year. Not sure when it is, but you could contact them to find out.

There's a bike auction on the 14th of May at 13.00 at Töölönlahden ulkoilukeskus, Mäntymäentie 1, Helsinki.

They have a big outdoor fleamarket in Ruoholahti... I think... or is it usually just in the summer?

The big one in Tikkurila on the weekends across the sports hall should have bikes; for furniture theres the Kierrätyskeskus across from Anttila (not open on weekends). Of course then theres the place in Koivukylä that is in the 3rd floor of that industrial estate that is a junk store.
