I am James, 62, retired USA: ESL and BA English.
I have taught English in Mexico, Nepal, Thailand, and Ladakh.
Volunteer experience 6 years with handicapped children and adults in Ireland, Mexico, and USA.
No criminal record.
I have been employed as an English teacher in Mexico (Spanish is my second language, and speak/understand fair German).
Other experience includes speech pathology, editing and proofreading from including from Spanish to English, farming, construction and bus driver !
I've just returned from 5 years cycle touring SE Asia, India, Nepal, Ladakh, Armenia, and Georgia.
I find the USA becoming more of a police state than I care for, and would like to "retire" away...and Lapland draws me for some reason...so i am posting here in hopes that a member may have a connection wherein I can teach English in Finland.
Yours sincerely
Mr James Dana Yeiser

Re: English teacher available full time
Unfortunately you do not have basic permission to work here in the first place and until you live here legally first, I am pretty sure EU citizens will always get legal preference for any jobs available that you could possibly accept. I am going to send you a PM with the routes that you could take to come here but none of them are very probable. Possibly someone will know a way for you to come here and will reply with that alternative.
The simplest way for you to come is as a student (masters or even another degree) but that requires you support yourself and you should assume you will not be able to find any work. That is, you will need savings.
