Worried About Permit Extension

Hei All!

I could use some advice. My current permit (student) expires in twenty days. I applied for a new one on the 14th of June. I keep checking on its status online and it still hasn't processed. I'm worried about my current visa expiring before I get a new one. Any advice on what to do?

I called the Espoo Poliisi and they said I don't have to worry as my application was submitted while my permit was valid. Cheers.

Visa != residence permit in Schengen terminology. Your stay continues to be legal as long as the application is being processed (or appealed).

Yes. As long as one does not need to travel, no problem.
