Thoughts on Jatkasääri?

We are considering Jatkasääri as a potential place to move to in the very near term. Looks like in next 10 years this will be a very vibrant community and appears to be very well planned as well as being a short walk away from Kamppi and the center of town. Thoughts?

Jatkasääri sounds like typo when you meant to write jatkosääri, extended leg. So my thoughts: funny but impractical.
Jätkäsaari, bloke/dude island, is the one you want.

Ha yea, Finnish spelling will definitely a challenge for me. I apparently keep calling someone Tulli instead of Tuuli, I've been told I am calling her customs instead of her name. After a few years of being on the board, we've booked one-way flights and we are heading to Finland next week! Finland +1 American, +2 Finnish-American kids, +1 Returning Finn.

Jatkasaari is one of the areas which will be under development for some time. I would follow the planning process to see what is happening. There are two Fb groups which might interest from that point of view:

When there are boats arriving and leaving, traffic by car can be a problem because of the bottle neck design of the roads in and out of the area.
