My Great Grandfather was born in Finland, can I get citizenship?

Hi friends,
My great grandfather was born in Finland and later moved to the US. I sawnonlone that my mother could have applied for citizenship because it says that "those with a Finish parent or grandparent are eligible", however my mother has passed away.

As a great-granddaughter of a Finsh person, am I maybe eligible for citizenship? Thank you so much!

You are not. You need to go through the naturalisation process.
