Buying a bike

Post by ddfreedie » Sun Aug 30, 2020 5:15 pm

Hi there,
I am planning to buy a bike here. Mainly looking for casual commute and very rate terrain ride. Is the suggestion to goto Hybrid or MTB.
Also any suggestion on the possible places to check for in Helsinki and my budget is 300-500e.
I had a look at White SC trainer and white SC COMP in XXL. Though i kind of liked them, wanted to try a few more choices.
Is there anything specific we need to keep in mind before looking out for i.e. like components used, material used and obvious brands etc.,
Any help is highly appreciated. Thanks.

Get one that has proper mud guards and tyres that fit the main purpose of the bike. And effing big lock.

I bought a "Crescent" brand bike (made in Sweden} for a very reasonable price. I rode it a lot for two and a half years before I sold it. I never had ANY problems with it during the time I owned it.

Try https://huutokaupat.com/haku?term=polku%20p. You won't be able to get a new Crescent, but then again, they don't make them anymore.
