Residence permits more expensive

The Ministry of the Interior announces that the handling fees for residence permit applications rise from 1 January 2007:

first permit 200 euros (now 175)
following permit 120 euros (now 100)
student or underage child 55 euros (now 50).

These charges are based on a new regulation concerning UVI charges and the motive is costs because of the higher standards (photo).
