I'm selling my Nordic Folkboat F-215 "Matilda", built 1967. She is pine construction, oak frames, plywood deck. Hull is painted dark green, cabin and cockpit varnished mahogany. Mast and boom are wood. She has 3 sails - main, jib and spinnaker, all in reasonable condition. All sheets are recently replaced or in good condition. Inside accomodation is "2+2", ie 2 normal bunks + space for kids in the forepeak! There is a twin burner spirit stove. She has "katsastusvarustet", and is in solid overall condition. There is all the usual equipment incl. 2 anchors, mooring ropes, windex, cover, winter storage legs, etc. Engine is Mariner 5 outboard which is very reliable and was professionally serviced this year.
The reason I am selling is that we need a larger boat - we have 3 kids and need more space. Folkboat is ideal for a couple, great for cruising in Finland and there is also a very active racing scene, so for little money you can have a lot of fun! If you live in Helsinki you can get a city-owned berth for about 200€/summer, winter storage cost is about 60€. Lift in and out is about 70€/time incl. raising mast, so running costs are very low compared to UK for example!
