Hello!!
I was wondering if you can help me... I'm Russian and have my Russian passport but I also have a Spanish permission for a living, which I got by marrying a Spanish resident with a Russian passport. Right now I'm in Russia and want to visit Finland as a tourist, so DO I HAVE TO GET A VIZA or my Spanish "permiso de reresidencia" is ok for doing that? I understand that it would definitely be ok if I went from Spain directly but from Russia which's not a EU country...

I'm not sure... What do you think?
Two more things really bother me. For how long I can stay in Finland with my Spanish permission and is there a slight possibility I can change this Spanish living permission for a Finnish one and stay in the country?
Thank you!!!!

...and if I have a Spanish living permission?

Spanish permission = Spain. Nothing to do with Finland. Finnish permission = Finland. Nothing to do with Spain. Every EU country is still having its own rules.

For visiting
http://formin.finland.fi/doc/eng/servic ... qvisa.html
"If you would ordinarily need a visa but have a residence permit valid in one of Schengen countries, you do not need a visa to enter another Schengen country if the intended duration of your stay is less than three months."
But I would triple-check with the embassy, as they might get curious at the border.
Cheers, Hank W.

Thank you very much. Now it's all clear to me. Too much information around me, so I was completely lost.

Now I'll just check with the embassy.
