Moi!
I'm a greek girl and I'm likely to move to Mikkeli next spring to work as a volunteer.
Finland has been the greatest love of my life and I am very excited for having the opportunity to work there as a volunteer. But I know nothing about Mikkeli except from the stuff I found in the official web-page.
So I was wondering if anyone knows some stuff like nightlife and music events.I'm into heavy metal and stuff but any info about leisure time in Mikkeli would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Moving to Mikkeli...

You are moving to the equivalent of 'Kavala' and you are asking for "anything happening" from people from Athens

... even the people from Thessaloniki might ask if you have anything happening... seriously... it is local for nightlife...
Do you guys still have the olive oil trousers in greece?

In 1998 or so, the girls in Thessaloniki, wore these trousers they need atleast 3-4 liters of olive oil to fit into. They had to put them on wet or something.
