Yeah. I like it when the bald bouncer makes his big muscles flex and throw out guys like you who turn an inoccuous conversation about a bar into a shoving match.haahatus wrote:You must be the kind of person who waits in ques to get into places and lets some hormoni portsari with a huge ego boss you aroundAnd then pays astronomical prices for something , heh
Heh.

If you're looking for cheap beer, look http://www.ravintolahaku.com/tuoppikale ... arjest.gif
For example, Hevimesta (kruunuhaka, close to Pataässä karaoke bar) Thursday, beer 1eur.

drinking in kallio might be cheap but then again if you want to have a few beers whilst surrounded by alcoholics or people of the sort then go for it. stop complaining everybody, you go out anywhere in the world its going to be expensive in the middle of a city, 3.50 for a pint of beer or cider is bloody cheap in comparison to other places. so if u think its a rip then dont drink there! im sure the staff wont mind.
Whilst everyone is wobbling on about alcohol and stuff... more importantly does anyone know if they are showing "THE" game tomorrow at the outback... All Blacks vs blighty... And what time would kickoff be?? And would it be the full game, or would they interupt the end for the aussie game???
cheers...

So... in your final, well thought out analysis: neither Kallio nor Aussie bar?padster wrote:drinking in kallio might be cheap but then again if you want to have a few beers whilst surrounded by alcoholics or people of the sort then go for it. stop complaining everybody, you go out anywhere in the world its going to be expensive in the middle of a city, 3.50 for a pint of beer or cider is bloody cheap in comparison to other places. so if u think its a rip then dont drink there! im sure the staff wont mind.
They didn't have any of the games last week as they didn't have sattelite reception!sheepish wrote:Whilst everyone is wobbling on about alcohol and stuff... more importantly does anyone know if they are showing "THE" game tomorrow at the outback... There is no such thing as a weird human being. It's just that some require more understanding than others.
its kinda sad really how you all whinge and moan about the place..i bet half you guys and gals havent been there, and if you have, youre probably the kind that the staff would rather not be there..i drink there regularly coz its a great atmospehere..isnt that what a local is all about..meeting friends in a great atmosphere..they only charge friday and saturday, its always crowded and theres cute girls everywhere!! monday to thurs its relaxed..wednesdays it gets hectic with live music and they also show the english and euro football..not bad for an aussie bar.,.if u interested in the cricket, the boxing day test is on now over next few days..so get in, have a coldie and just chill out..if you dont like a song the bartenders are playing..go and tell him..they'll ask what u want, if they got it and youre alright theyll play it for ya..where else can u do that if they dont have a jukebox..seriously., people here (finns especially) you all too uptight..get in and have a chat with the boys at the bar..they all good fellas eager for a chin wag (and a flirt too girls, watch out!)..
