Any Finnish lessons on podcast/mp3 format?

Post by Phil » Sun Feb 19, 2006 1:57 pm

The Finnish state releases alot of Finnish lessons on Capital FM, are any of these in mp3 format anywhere? I'd love to listen to them on my iPod. Does anyone else release any learn-Finnish-language stuff on mp3?

Isn't capital FM called YleMondo nowadays?

According to that page, the course is not available on tape, which was the same situation a few years ago.. I e-mailed Yle once asking why they only made CapitalFM available in some cities (Tampere/Turku / Hki etc.)... no reply.

Nowadays I can get YleMondo as a radio channel via cable TV... not much help in the car though. :(

That's ridiculous. The state funds those lessons. If they were actually interested in people learning Finnish, they'd put them online.

if someone else wants a copy PM me!
(according to austrian law i'm allowed to give a small number of copies to friends, so it's NOT illegal)
