I was wondering if anyone would be willing to help me figure out what I need to get to Finland, i feel very stuck right now and I do not know how to contact anyone that can help me with work study or exchange program. Also, how can I get a Finnish pen pal so I can begin to learn the language? I'd appreciate anyones help dearly. I'm extremely worried that I will never get over there, and without some guidence I doubt I'll ever get out of my hometown

Um, don't take this the wrong way, but you're not just going to Finland because of HIM are you? because that's kind of...um, I think that's pointless.

There's lots of threads here on what to do to get to Finland, that question has been asked a lot. Just look through the old threads and you should find some sort of an answer.

For a finnish penpal, there are quite a few penpal sites you can go to and if you're on LiveJournal there are several penpal communities as well. I don't know the URLs but I can find them out for you.

Well, I think theres two sydromes that cause a mental illness to want to move to Finland:

HBS - hot blonde syndrome
and a new one:
GCS - goth chick syndrome

I didn't know GHS causes people to post in green but dr.efx might make an analysis.

Why "moving to Finland" is considered a "mental illness" is that all Finns want to move to foreign places to avoid the cheap prices, cheap taxes etc.

me moving to finland because of him?! NO WAY! I would never see them anyways, not going because of any particular band...I would like to go because its close to Russia, and i've heard Finland is a little safer than Russia is right now, but I would really like to travel around over there.

After all, Finland is very different from Russia. Though I guess we've embraced the "slavic melancholy" allright. Have you seen the Conan O'Brian in Finland video?
